On this page I have and I will put some of my arrangements and transcriptions for guitar. Mostly that'll be Croatian folk music and folk music around the world and compositions written by classical and contemorary composers. You can find here not only pure transcriptions but also variations on folk themes and music inspired by national heritage . It's very hard to separate music inspired by folk motives from someone's original music, because folk music is deeply attached to our genes (and souls). I have decided to open this page as a contribution to the world's folk music. It was very hard to me to decide which piece to put here, because I have many songs that are inspired by folk music. So I decided to put here only those tunes that have pieces picked up directly from folk reels and songs.

  Variations on
Foggy Mountain Breakdown
Earl Scruggs (USA)
This piece contains three variations on popular bluegrass composition Foggy Mountain Breakdown. I have transcribed this famous bluegrass tune for five strings banjo, and created variations on it. Melody line with alternating bass is very simple, but the tempo is furious. I like this simple tune very much and I really enjoy how a simple melody can be so exciting for playing.

  Beetlejuice Danny Elfman (USA)
"Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice". The famous Tim Burton's movie "Beetlejuice" and of course intrigating Danny Elfman's music. I have arranged the opening theme for guitar quartet. Quartet consits of two acoustic guitars and two electric (overdriven and distortion) I had also changed few parts to add more "hora" spice and to get more guitar-like sound. I hope that Danny Elfman will not be angry for this.
Note: all four guitars are tuned to standard tuning.
