Background tiles
Background tiles are used to add canvas textures to your drawing background.
You can use one of 16 predefined textures for your canvas background and also
create your own textures and add them to tile directory specified in Preferences.
Background tiles are grayscale seamless JPEG (.jpg) patterns of size 96x96 or 128x128.
You can use any grayscale (8-bit) seamless JPEG (.jpg) image of any size,
with one exception: width and height of the image must be multiple of 4.
If this rule is not satisfied, your image will not be loaded.
When you start Pixopedia 24, default background tile image index is set to -1,
which means that no image is loaded and no additional intensity calculation is performed.
When some image is selected, width and height of image is shown as well as image index.
Every background tile image is used as backgound mask. Prior to any action,
resulting image pixel cahnnels are multiplied by background tile pixel value (0 - 255) at coresponding
aligned position and became new pixel channels which are rendered onto canvas.
When bump brush effect is specified, canvas bumping is also performed.
To remove current background tile, simply select another one or press Clear button
if you don't want to use background tiling at all.
